moving around holi fire is a ritual, belief is that it absorbs negative energy
people usually move around holi fire 7 times in clockwise direction to complete the ritual.
Babies born in the year previous to the holi are also carried around fire 7 times generally by uncle and this ritual forms the first part of Dhoondh ritual.
The next day will be celebrated as dhulandi the festival of colors.
